Presentation
GriselinI have always wanted to express my creativity. Of all arts, drawing and painting have always been the most appealing to me. Since I have not received actual training in art, I view myself as a self-taught artist. In 2004, I decided to become a painter. It is only since then that I really started painting on a regular basis. My painting is primarily figurative and decorative. Through the exploration of large spaces produced by their own worlds or imaginary worlds, full of fantasy or science-fiction, observers are invited to go on a journey, to let their minds wander, to discover some new scenery and to experience poetry. Generally speaking, I purposely paint on a relatively large canvas. It offers me a great freedom of execution. This is a feeling that I want to communicate through my painting. I believe it is very important not to divide up the spaces I paint on and not to limit them with a frame. I would like my painting to let the observers’ minds wander through unexplored and mysterious places, so that they would be plunged into a sort of contemplative meditation. I hope you will enjoy looking at my paintings as much as I enjoyed doing them. Have a nice visit !
