François Murez’s artistic course really began in the Fine art of Toulouse with the learning of the drawing, at the end of 1970s. In Toulon, he discovers the sculpture within the framework of a teamwork and pursues the experience in Paris in artist’s workshop. Several exhibitions in Paris and in province illustrated its work.



Since the 1980s, he creates in his own workshop in Paris region. He is interested in the artists having penetrated into the internal life of beings and things of this world. By their educations, he tries to understand the way of apprehending the aesthetic pleasure.



For its paintings, his artistic course gets organized around themes in link with the journeys. His sculptures are so many attempts to return life to lost wood.



Some of his recent exhibitions joined an initiative of value creation and associative exchanges, showing as well as the art accompanies any sorts of themes:



· Or in the special event management for the sport (with the Union of the Blind persons of France): a work in proximity with the team which allowed two visually handicapped people to climb Kilimandjaro.

· Or in thorough project for the landscape of the truck farms of the Loire (with the Association St Fiacre Loire-Baratte): exhibitions accompanied the strong moments of the life of this association, either in Nevers, or in the other cities.



His work feeds on a pondering over the Nature under all its forms to transcribe this one by the means of the painting, the sculpture, the engraving or the drawing.
