Native of Périgord in France Margot Asphe
Follows journeys which leads to 17 years in Antibes, ( French Riviera)
from 86 to 93 To Saint Barth ( fwi ) She created a shop of lingerie and swimsuits, ““Margot Boutique” draws a line of clothing ’ Triphase ’, organizes fashion show of lingerie,
From Gran Canaria to Mallorque and between Andalusia and Saint Martin ( fwi ), She enriched by the exceptional contact of all these cultures

Since 2003 installed in Martinique, she turns definitively In the art of the painting
” I ll like painting the sound of a rope of guitar, the breath which gets through the saxophone.
I try to integrate the visual and sound sensations, the rhythm, in my pictorial language ”

Margot’s universe

A trio established between the support: which is the boat sail,
The feminine curves, and the Music,
Jazz : her first paintings on the Music, is inspired
Pop : as Music seventies, or as would be bubbles of enjoyment which burst

By a Variation of color:
She plays with the primary tones, the deep and powerful Caribbean blu , yellow round as suns
Or through ochre, she paints an imprint of life, strata comings of another age…

In the temporality of the glance, the artist generates similar feelings in the musical models,
The work is reformed to be able to integrate a superior Harmony
A bridge between the eye and the ear, visual stimuli can generate a hearing interiorization

In her writing pictorial, she integrates at once, the calligraphic aspect of the forms, and the visual and sound sensations.

To give more life to the composition of her paintings she makes research and learnes the harmonious progress of alberti (1485)
Nowadays it is the rare contemporary artist who sometimes uses these Musical harmony ex: 2-5-1 (one of harmonious of the jazz) that we find in the composition ” Pop in Jazz ” the visual of the Martinique Jazz Festival 2010.
