Idyll : from lolita to aphrodite… and vice versa how women-child gives birth to child-woman Young women, specially at puberty, play unconsciously with her seduction power.They try out. They want to know what impression they gives … they will give as women, enchantress and sexualized. They take aesthetic and gestual rules of seduction. My work lean on this innocente naivety of “adulescence” that combine itself with the attraction and the charm of the grown woman. Peter Pan, envious of the life, the power, the liberty of adult, without breaking his sweetened and eternal youthfulness. This Lolitas search her personality, her identity in Identification … not in the identification to her mother but in the identification to a media representation. Narcissus, the water and the reflection … Society, the artist and the model Through this lolita, it’s the actual society I try to transcribe with a miror-play of this new esthetics.
