Born in 1960, Gerald Faurdtier studied History of art at the university of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, carries a Doctorate in History and Civilisations, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris. It was launched in a career in academia and teaching and he taught for several years at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
