Nicolas Ghesquiere

GhesquiereMy personal approach addresses the themes of identity, preconceptions and prejudices. It is based on two main axes :

The first axis is that of a social art which, by distancing leads to a more critical eye . Participatory art that appeals to the viewer feel when confronted with the artist’s installations, including sets of mirrors .
The second is that the graph perfectionism. It grows up details for each technique used to induce the viewer error by blurring the boundaries between print, painting, drawing, collage and photo.

Using the multiplication and fragmentation portrait causes a feeling of perplexity which will launch the intellectual process . Indeed, the same image multiple encourages felt by his treatment ?

The fragmentation of a portrait in several areas of colors allows, like a kaleidoscope, to see a person across the spectrum of different emotional colors.

The photographs are then processed by computer graphics are made on different types of media .

My recent searches Nicolas Ghesquière pushed him to focus on the work of the third dimension : furniture, lighting, office.
